Promo video of Ukraine
Task
We had to create a promotional video of Ukraine for the Instagram audience, as part of the Ukraine NOW project. The video had to fit its audience, to hook, to be unique and completely different from the previous ones.
Problem
We wanted to go beyond expectations and create a video with no flights over the Carpathians or the Dnipro. There is Ukraine in its brightest manifestation — as a territory of freedom.
Idea
Ukraine is part of the post-Soviet world. What makes it unique? Freedom! Freedom, bursting with bright colors, setting trends, having no limits and creating Ukraine right here and now.

The video is focused on the generation that grew up on the ruins of the Soviet Union, but miraculously became the link between the past and the future.
For whom did we do this work?
For the generation that buys organic products from an elderly lady with a checkered bag near the world’s cleanest subway, and then eats poached eggs for breakfast at an Instagram cafe. For the generation that lives in Khrushchevkas, walks among Soviet architecture, drinks tea from their parents’ set of cups found in the sideboard, and opens startups every day.

This video is about today’s Ukraine. Young and beautiful.
This is Ukraine
And this is its generation of freedom
A generation of beautiful, brave, courageous people
A generation of rebellious but not thoughtless ones.
The generation that sees beauty in everything:
On the wall, in passers-by, in the subway on the way home.
A generation that feels the taste of freedom —
It’s pepperoni, lime, wasabi or horseradish
A generation whose hearts beat
To jazz, rap, techno and trembitas’ blowing.
It is still healing wounds but is anticipating the future.
It knows the taste of victory. It is unforgettable.
This is Ukraine today. Young and beautiful.
A territory of freedom and a place of power.
It rages, rushes, and transforms every minute.
It annoys some and strengthens the wings of others.
It opens the heart and gives a unique opportunity
To feel the unstoppable wind of freedom today, now.
How did we do it?
