The New Year and Christmas holidays in 2020 were not like before…
Ukraine, like the whole world, faced a new reality brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.
It became obvious that many people would not be able to go to their relatives, as they used to, or to gather in a large friendly company of several families. However, the tradition of greetings is very important for Ukrainians. In order to support it, so that a Christmas star comes to every home and brings warmth and love, we launched the “Amazing Postcard” project initiated by the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska.
We have created 12 digital postcards for Christmas and New Year. Each postcard is based on the original work of a Ukrainian artist. Each one is animated, and the ancient symbols on it move, thanks to modern technologies.
In fact, not the technologies made the postcards alive and unique, but people!

We created a video with the First Lady of Ukraine announcing
the launch of the online resource “Amazing Postcard.”
And the postcards flew! Hundreds, thousands, tens of
thousands of unique, personalized greetings. Warm words of love and faith in the miracle to come.
Hundreds of thousands of people learned more about the ancient Ukrainian symbols and traditions of
celebrating the New Year and Christmas.
However, the most important thing is that “Amazing Postcard”
united Ukrainians from different regions and countries around the world, bringing joy to every home,
making the world around kinder, and therefore amazing indeed!
Printed postcards were distributed for free throughout Ukraine by the Ukrposhta network.
During the campaign, 145,873 people visited the website.
Number of postcards created: 77,900. Conversion was 53%. The total reach of the digital campaign was 5,000,000.
